AmCham Dubai's GITEX Kick-Off Breakfast 2025
As GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World, marks its 45th edition, the KICK OFF BREAKFAST has become a hallmark of AmCham Dubai’s commitment to advancing US-UAE innovation and collaboration. Each year, we gather on this first morning of GITEX to celebrate the partnerships, technologies, and ideas that are shaping the digital future.
This year’s theme “Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy”, reflected how artificial intelligence has become part of everything we do: transforming industries, redefining education, and creating new opportunities for sustainable growth across the region.
Sandra Helayel, AmCham Dubai Board Member, opened the morning with remarks on the importance of cross-sector collaboration in driving innovation.
Our keynote address was delivered by Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office (UAE), whose insights set the tone for a thought-provoking discussion on AI leadership and national strategy.
The session was moderated by Dino Wilkinson, Partner, Tech & Data Lead at Baker McKenzie, and featured an expert panel including:
