ABOUT
Mohamed is P&G’s Public Policy Regional Director for Gulf and Levant, an elected board member of AmCham Dubai since 2022, as well the UAE Circular Packaging Association. He is an experienced, results-oriented and highly influential senior leader with 15 years of experience as regional head of public policy, corporate affairs, supply chain, and human resources in CPG sector across Indian subcontinent, Middle East, and Africa Region.
El-Dabaa previously led P&G’s RPM supply chain in the Middle East and Africa, and P&G’s talent acquisition and development, he possesses expertise in advocacy, fiscal & taxes policies, data privacy, international trade, environmental sustainability, corporate communications, market access, global supply chain design and management, strategic sourcing, influential public speaking & storytelling, and organization development.
He was elected to the board of the UAE Circular Packaging Association in Oct. 2022, the first industry coalition focusing on circular economy for packaging materials in the GCC, he also co-founded the packaging working group under Saudi Federation of Chambers, he serves on the AmCham Board since Dec. 2022.
El-Dabaa is a Mechanical Engineer who graduated from Alexandria University, and he previously worked at Varta and British Petroleum Companies.
STATEMENT
It was a great honor to serve on AmCham board for the last 8 months, working side by side with a great board and great enabling staff was a key enabler for a great 2023 so far, the AmCham membership increasing trend and members' feedback shows that the momentum will only continue bigger and stronger.
I’m running for this election to continue delivering our strategy of enabling American businesses engaging, networking and advocacy within the UAE and beyond, and continue our action plans that focus on: Maximizing our member's benefits of their participation in the committees and general activities of AmCham across sectors, worth to mention that 2023 to date is the highest year ever from the number of events and programs for AmCham. As well the first year to implement the quarterly general all committees update events for our members with strong collaboration and the presence of AmCham members.
Effectively participate in the policy-making process in the very dynamic region that we are in with best in class private public partnership that enables more development and enhancement of robust business atmosphere.
