My candidacy is built on a foundation of extensive, diverse professional experience and significant global exposure. This unique combination equips me with a deep understanding of the varied industries AmCham represents and a nuanced perspective on the international trade, policy, and cultural dynamics that impact U.S. businesses abroad. I am prepared to leverage this multifaceted background to effectively advocate for our entire membership, foster meaningful dialogue, and champion the strategic interests of the American business community.
ABOUT
Khalid Mohammad is Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for Eaton’s Corporate and Electrical Sector in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He was appointed to this role in October 2024. Before joining Eaton, Khalid was Vice President and General Manager for Johnson Controls in the Middle East and Africa, where he led strategic growth initiatives, managed full P&L responsibilities, and drove operational efficiencies across the region. Over his 11-year tenure at Johnson Controls, he also served as Vice President of Regional Operations & Digital Solutions Delivery for EMEA, overseeing end-to-end digital transformation and business operations.
Prior to this, Khalid held senior leadership roles at Google and Motorola, gaining extensive experience in business strategy, supply chain operations, and sales across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. At Google, he was Senior Director of Strategic Operations for the Mobile Division, focusing on global market expansion and product strategy. During his 14 years at Motorola, he held multiple senior roles, including Director of Global Business & Supply Chain Operations and General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Mobile Devices, where he played a key role in scaling operations and driving commercial success.
Khalid holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, USA. He is based in Dubai, UAE.
