Health Sector Committee

AmCham Dubai’s Health Sector Committee brings together a diverse group of member companies involved in innovative health sectors who aim to contribute to the quality, efficacy, and efficiency of the U.A.E. healthcare system by creating an optimal environment for innovation public-private collaboration. The committee’s mission is to work with the government and private sector to identify common issues and move reform to the next level.

Sustainability & ESG Committee

Sustainability & ESG is a core driver of business productivity and growth in the 21st century and the public’s heightened expectations for companies have dovetailed with the growing interest of investors in environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, which include diversity and inclusion (D&I). At AmCham Dubai through the Sustainability Committee we are working to help define responsible business as the new normal and to support the business model that has sustainability and inclusivity at its very heart.

Human Resources Committee

The Human Resources Committee reviews existing frameworks and recommend a roadmap for developing robust and coherent policies on best practice in Human Resources in the U.A.E.

This committee will provide an opportunity for business leaders and government officials to discuss operational issues, exchange ideas, and create a roadmap for continued dialogue towards policy enhancements and reform.

American Brands Forum

AmCham Dubai formed the American Brands Forum with the objective of boosting collaboration between American brands & being the concerted voice of American business in the U.A.E. Topics will include the following:

• Intellectual property rights and enforcement, such as counterfeiting, piracy, and illegitimate trade
• Develop and coordinate efforts with law enforcement agencies on lobbying engagements, and advocacy campaigns
• Strategically conduct capacity building & training programs

Digital Transformation

The Digital Transformation Committee at AmCham Dubai brings together technology leaders and business professionals from across sectors to explore how digital innovation—particularly artificial intelligence and emerging technologies—can drive sustainable growth and competitiveness.

By fostering public-private dialogue and cross-industry collaboration, the committee supports knowledge-sharing, practical application, and alignment with evolving regulatory frameworks. Its work focuses on advancing best practices in digital and AI adoption, strengthening the local technology ecosystem, and addressing key issues such as data governance, protection, and sovereignty.

Through targeted workshops, regulatory engagement, and thought leadership, the committee enables responsible innovation and helps member companies navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape with confidence.

Food & Beverage Regulatory Committee

The AmCham Dubai Food & Beverage Regulatory Committee serves as a collaborative platform for U.S. companies operating in the U.A.E. and beyond to engage on key regulatory issues affecting the food and beverage sector. The committee’s mission is to foster an environment that meets the goals of the regulators and the standards of the U.A.E., while supporting long-term business continuity and success for U.S. firms and strictly adhering to AmCham’s anti-competition by-laws.

Through constructive dialogue, strategic advocacy, and public-private engagement, the committee aims to tackle regulatory challenges, reduce trade barriers, and promote policy solutions that benefit both industry and consumers throughout the region.
