ABC Dubai is an international affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce, established in the UAE for more than 30 years. It is the first bilateral trade organization in the UAE and operates under the local patronage of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
ABC Dubai promotes the US business interests of corporations and individuals in the UAE and across the region and works to strengthen the relationship between the US and UAE based on trade & investment, cooperation and friendship.
ABC Dubai actively advocates for US business with US and UAE government officials, on both a local and international level. We support bilateral trade and US businesses’ commercial development, from initial entry into the market to current and future expansion. We enable members to access a vast network of professionals by organizing high-level events for the US business community, in partnership with public and private sector leaders and stakeholders. Last but not least, we promote US investment in the UAE with roadshows in the United States, alongside high-level Emirati public and private sector leaders.
ABC Dubai represents businesses ranging from Fortune 500s to SMEs, across all sectors of industry, as well as UAE organizations with a US business affiliation. Our network comprises over 3,000 corporate and individual members, government bodies, and other partner stakeholders.
You do not have to be a US citizen to join ABC Dubai, but if you are not a US citizen it is necessary for your company to have an affiliation to US business.
You can apply for membership by clicking the Membership tab on this website and following the user-friendly instructions or by contacting our Membership Department. You will be asked to fill out a form, submit a copy of your passport, visa and professional ID photo. For corporate members a trade license will be required. ABC Dubai’s Board of Directors will review the information and grant or deny approval of your application within one month, based upon membership qualification criteria and overall merit.
You may view the ABC Dubai membership directory online by clicking the Directory tab. A complimentary hardcopy is distributed exclusively to ABC Dubai members each year. Members can also avail advertising space in the Directory to increase business & brand exposure.
ABC Dubai offers something for everyone. There are six different corporate or individual membership categories with associated benefits and fees from which to choose: President’s Club, Vice President’s Club, Ambassador’s Club, Corporate, Small Business/Non-profit and Professional. Benefits span a broad range of services such as government advocacy, commercial services access to our Member Rewards Program, business networking and community-building events, as well as business and brand-exposure opportunities. ABC Dubai offers a diverse and increasingly innovative range of knowledge-sharing and community-building events each year. The program includes but is not limited to:


  • industry-specific closed-door roundtable discussions with high-level US and UAE public officials
  • US Consular section briefings
  • relationship-building events with Emirati stakeholders and friends
  • business breakfasts (luncheons/dinners), conferences and forums
  • kick-off events for pubic forums such as Arab Health, Cityscape, Dubai Airshow, etc.
  • inter-council and other networking events
  • celebrations of national holidays or sports tournaments
  • issue-specific events such as the Women’s Leadership Forum, Engagement & Diversity
The number of events vary from month-to-month, with an average of 4-5 events per month. These are generally held in and around Dubai, across a variety of venues.
Members are informed of events via email and anyone can consult our program calendar on this website for specific information. Registration is open for most but restricted for some events, depending upon availability – and can be processed through this website. Go to Events and follow the instructions to register.
A few of ABC Dubai events are open to guests of members, subject to availability of space, but priority for attendance is reserved for members. We encourage non-members to join the Council to meet and engage with the US business community and learn more about how ABC Dubai can facilitate and accelerate their business growth in the region.
The Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss all matters related to the successful accomplishment of the mission of the Council, to vote on the annual budget as well as elect new board members, discuss events, review and approve new member applications, etc. Their engagement on behalf of the US business community is voluntary and contributes to strengthening US-UAE trade relations.
